This case study showcases how iASYS successfully modernized a vehicle testing facility’s chassis dynamometer by replacing legacy analog systems with an advanced digital testing platform. Through the implementation of the Advanced Dyno Controller (CDC), Orbit V Software Platform, COMET Driver Assistance System, and Profibus-DP digital communication, iASYS significantly improved test precision, system responsiveness, and operational reliability. The solution delivered high-accuracy force and inertia validation, reduced downtime through real-time diagnostics, simplified maintenance by minimizing wiring complexity, and established a scalable, future-ready testing infrastructure. As a result, the customer achieved faster response times, enhanced data accuracy, improved test consistency, and more efficient mileage accumulation and road load simulation testing while ensuring reliable performance for evolving automotive validation requirements.
